Preparing for our exams!

All heads are deep in books at the moment as our  mid-year exams are coming up in just over 2 weeks. Best of luck to all the students and thank you teachers for your extra effort in ensuring we all understand the material so we can all pass our exams with flying colours!

Where we are..

As our new school building continues to get new additions we are searching for visitors to come and share their skills with us! Teaching children, talking with teachers or anything to continue our schools development would be greatly appreciated. We are now using our school building which is great but visitor's are what will help us to keep moving forward!

You'll learn about our village life, experience the Nepalese culture, food and traditions and be doing a great thing whilst doing so. We guarantee an amazing time with great life experiences!!

We hope to see you, so click on our 'Visit Us' section for more information.

School has resumed....

School has resumed in our new building this month and it is great to all be in the same vicinity. Not only is it better for all the students but the teachers too are able to work closer together to build a strong school community for all the pupils. There is still some final touches going on after school to finish the building but this is not affecting the student lessons which is great!

We have welcomed some new teachers to our school also who have settled in well and are focused on moving this school and the children's eduction to greater levels. Welcome aboard newbies!

Great to hear!

An extract from our latest visitor Joe Greathead:

"I guess, firstly – I can confirm that everything that has been said on this website about the children, the surrounds and the warm, effusive nature of the people living in Bega are one hundred percent true. The family I stayed with (Kamal, Chandra, their son Gajen and nephew Nikkas) were the most kind, generous, happy people I have had the pleasure of meeting. And funny too! – watching Kamal, a forty eight year old man unexpectedly do the chicken dance in front of the entire room at dinner was one of the biggest belly laughs I’ve had in a long time."

And in 2011 we finally have....

OUR VERY FIRST SCHOOL BUILDING!!

The new year was welcomed with a new and our very first school buildling! Thank you to everyone who made this possible! To all be together in one building will certainly help us build a community focused and educational environment second to none! Check out the latest photo's in the photo section and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
